The FBI has announced that it is closing its investigation into the Duke of York's connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein

In a New York civil lawsuit, Virginia Giuffre alleged that Epstein trafficked her in the early 2000s to London, New York and the U.S. Virgin Islands to have sex with the prince when she was 17. Andrew denied the allegation and settled out of court, paying a substantial sum but admitting no liability. Giuffre died by suicide in April.

Prince Andrew was stripped of all his military titles and royal patronages and was removed from all his royal duties after Virginia Giuffre filed a civil lawsuit against him, accusing him of sexually abusing her three times in 2001 when she was 17 and was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
