Tributes to The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson have been pouring in from all throughout the music world, from Bob Dylan to Kacey Musgraves to Paul McCartney, and now Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong shared a cover of “I Get Around” that he recorded a few years ago and never released.

Armstrong is one of the many musicians who have paid tribute to Wilson; Sting also covered the Beach Boys ‘ “ God Only Knows ” at a concert in Germany. “Today, one of my heroes died, Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys,” he said prior to the performance. “So I want to sing a song that I love.”
