Yankees captain Aaron Judge is dealing with a flexor strain in his right elbow that has landed him on the 10-day injured list, manager Aaron Boone said after Saturday afternoon's 9-4 loss to the Phillies at Yankee Stadium.

Manager Aaron Boone said before the game that the club doesn’t know the extent of the injury, that the two-time AL Most Valuable Player was sent for imagine tests and that they are awaiting the results of the test. Team physician Dr. Chris Ahmad was expected to be at the ballpark to examine Judge.

Jac Caglianone was placed on the 10-day IL yesterday. He injured his hamstring hustling to first base in the opener of Saturday's doubleheader between the Kansas City Royals and Cleveland Guardians. Caglianone's spot in right field will likely be filled by Randall Grichuk, acquired yesterday from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
