While theatrical releases come with their own charm and experience, OTT releases are all about comfort! Soon after a movie becomes a theatrical hit, fans anticipate its OTT release. Well, there's good news for all The Lion King fans—it will soon be available for streaming on OTT.

"Mufasa: The Lion King" is coming home. The Barry Jenkins-directed epic, which serves as both a prequel and sequel to 2019's reimagined "The Lion King," will debut on Disney+ March 26. This confirms Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden's comments last week that the film would be available "later in March.

Mufasa: The Lion King will begin streaming on Disney+ on March 26 after a 96-day theatrical window. That’s a little shorter than the 105-day window of Moana 2 to Disney+, but it’s long enough for exhibitors.
