Fans of Six Flags California’s Great America, located in Santa Clara, California, will have a little more time to enjoy the theme park, as it will not shut its doors until at least the end of 2027.

However, Six Flags America’s Kids Boo Fest will be held on weekends beginning September 14. This event will run until November 2, the park’s expected final day of operations.

CHICAGO (CBS) – Six Flags Great America, in Gurnee, announced Thursday a new thrill ride to be built by spring 2017. The Joker, will be Six Flags 15th roller coaster and first ever free-fly coaster.

Fans of Six Flags California’s Great America will have a little more time to enjoy the theme park, as it will not shut its doors until at least the end of 2027, according to People Magazine.
