Though the signing was reported as a two-year agreement, the Browns often use void deals to backload contracts and spread out cap hits. The team entered the week with about $13 million in available cap space, but Myles Garrett’s agreed-upon mega-extension had not yet been officially processed as of Wednesday afternoon.

The Cleveland Browns have reportedly signed veteran defensive tackle Maliek Collins to a two-year deal. Cleveland’s defense was missing something for most of the 2024 season, and that “something” was the ability to apply pressure up the middle in the team’s base packages.
