Caitlin Clark’s return to the lineup didn’t go as planned for the Indiana Fever. After missing five games due to a groin injury, the phenom was back on the floor Wednesday night. But the Fever were blown out 80-61 by the surging Golden State Valkyries.

Instead of sticking with her usual starting lineup, coach Stephanie White opted to start Aari McDonald in place of Lexie Hull. The move gave the Fever two primary ball handlers, as both Clark and McDonald naturally play point guard. This allowed Clark to play off-ball a bit more.
