The Israeli military has intercepted a Gaza-bound aid ship, detaining 21 international activists and journalists and seizing all cargo, including baby formula, food, and medicine, according to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition.

An activist from the black American humanitarian organization aboard the Handala aid ship bound for Gaza was attacked upon arrival at an Israeli prison.

Bob Suberi, a 77-year-old former restaurant owner from Affton, was detained while trying to bring aid to Gaza and break the Israeli navy’s blockade of the waters surrounding it.
