Virat Kohli was dismissed by a Himanshu Sangwan delivery during their Delhi vs Railways Ranji Trophy clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Virat Kohli made a sensational return to the Ranji Trophy after a 12-year hiatus. The 36-year-old appeared against the Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium but he failed with the bat again as he could only manage to rack up six runs before Himanshu Sangwan cleaned him up.

Railways are reeling in the second innings as they have lost seven wickets leaving Delhi on the verge of a win. Earlier, Delhi got all out for 374 in the first innings as Himanshu Sangwan took four wickets for Railways.

Delhi reached 41/1 in reply to Railways' 241 all out at stumps on Day 1 at the Arun jaitley Stadium. Virat Kohli, who is playing his first Ranji Trophy match after more than 12 years, will come out to bat on Friday.

Delhi coach Sarandeep Singh said that Virat Kohli has given his commitment to play Ranji Trophy again if there is an opportunity in future.

Barring Navdeep Saini, Himmat Singh is the only player in this squad, who has shared a dressing room with Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli made his much awaited Ranji Trophy comeback after a 12-year hiatus, playing for Delhi in their last group encounter against Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Delhi head coach Sarandeep Singh said Virat Kohli was committed to representing his home team in domestic cricket after featuring in their commanding victory over Railways in the final Elite Group D game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday.
