A mega sports and entertainment store, Scheels, is making its way to the Oklahoma City metro. It's just a few more steps away from breaking ground and opening its doors to taxpayers.

FARGO — Scheels will soon open a second store in Oklahoma. The Fargo-based and employee-owned chain of sporting good stores plans to open a store in Oklahoma City in the spring of 2028. The Oklahoma City store will be the brand's second location in Oklahoma, joining a store that opened in Tulsa last year.
