Health officials say at least seven people in six states have been affected in a new salmonella outbreak linked to backyard poultry.

Salmonella-related warnings were issued by the CDC and FDA this week in relation to a poultry-linked outbreak and tomato recalls.

At least seven people have gotten sick after coming in contact with the poultry, but only one person in Illinois has become ill.
