The six-figure winning ticket was sold prior to Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, according to the release. The Powerball ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven convenience store/gas station at 4091 Moore Duncan Highway in the Moore area of Spartanburg County, officials said.

More than 840,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $100,000, the lottery said.
