The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories for much of northwest Oregon and parts of southwest Washington starting Tuesday evening. A map, available on the National Weather Service in Portland website,

Banks is under a Winter Weather Advisory, while higher elevations like Timber are under a Winter Storm Warning.

On Wednesday at 9:19 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory in effect until Thursday at 4 a.m. for Lawrence, Beaver, Allegheny, Washington, Greene, Westmoreland and Fayette counties.
