Michigan State baseball took an early lead in its Big Ten tournament game against top-seeded Oregon but couldn't hold on and lost, 4-2, on My 22.

Oregon opens up the Big Ten Conference tournament which is being held in Omaha, with the 10-seeded Michigan State Spartans. It's just a coincidence that the conference tourney is in the same location as the College World Series. The Ducks have to be hoping this will be just the first trip to Omaha this year.
