Aidan Zingg was competing in the Mammoth Mountain MX event in California over the weekend when he crashed during his 250 B class heat.

Motocross prodigy Aidan Zingg died Saturday at age 16 from injuries sustained during a race at the Mammoth Mountain MX event.

Aidan Zingg, 16, died while competing at the 2025 Mammoth Motocross event. “It’s been a day and I feel like it’s been a lifetime,” his sister Alexandria Zingg shared. “My heart is completely broken.”
