Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris crashed four laps from the end of the Canadian Grand Prix, with the Brit running into the back of his team-mate on the start-finish straight. Out front, George Russell held off Max Verstappen for victory with rookie team-mate Kimi Antonelli on the podium.

Lando Norris lapped fastest in final Canadian Grand Prix practice on Saturday as Formula One leader and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri hit Montreal's wall of champions.

Russell beat Verstappen by 0.160 seconds to grab the fastest time just seconds after the Dutchman himself had taken it away from McLaren's Oscar Piastri.

Leclerc misjudged Turn Three after locking his brakes going into the corner and collected the barrier as he speared across the grass, just under halfway through the session.
