Chelsea has confirmed the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Mathis Amougou from Saint-Etienne. Amougou who made 17 top-flight appearances for the French club signed an eight-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Etienne worth in the region of €15 million ($15.5m), sources have told ESPN. The sources added that the 19-year-old midfielder is more likely to join the Blues' first-team setup immediately as opposed to joining Chelsea's sister club Strasbourg on loan,

Whilst not officially confirmed by either Chelsea or AS Saint-Étienne, Mathis Amougou (19) can now be considered a Chelsea player, according to Fabrizio Romano.A deal between the two clubs for a fee
