Tim and Esther Keiderling were found dead this week after attempting to scale Mount Katahdin in Maine over the weekend, after a massive search party recovered their bodies.

A hiker was discovered dead near the summit of Maine's highest peak Tuesday, after he and his daughter went missing. The daughter has not been found.

Tim Keiderling and Esther Keiderling, both of Ulster Park, New York, set out to hike the summit on Sunday, officials said.
