Jonathan India and Adam Frazier hit two-run homers, rallying the Kansas City Royals to a 6-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday for a series sweep.

The Royals must contend with the Texas Rangers on Monday night. It’s the start of a four-game series that will have playoff implications. The Royals swept the Rangers in June and need one more victory to secure the regular-season tiebreaker.

Rave belted his fourth career homer off White Sox starter Sean Burke in the third inning. He saw two curveballs before connecting on a 93.9 mph fastball. It was his first home run at Kauffman Stadium. He has hit safely in his last five games with an at-bat.

The infielder's surprisingly consistent offensive prowess in his first full season could keep him around for the next phase of the Sox’ rebuild.
