A former Seattle Seahawk has found a new home. Early on Tuesday morning, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that right tackle George Fant will be signing with the Washington Commanders. Fant was a Seahawks from 2016-2019, and once again in 2024 - unfortunately, his season last year was marred by injuries and he was limited to only two games.
With Emerson out for the year, there will be plenty of pressure on Ward and his fellow cornerback, Greg Newsome, to perform. Newsome, a first-round pick out of Northwestern in 2021, missed four games a year ago, finishing the season with 27 tackles, an interception and five pass breakups.
