Hunter Goodman took his bat to the Rockies’ infamous streak and shattered it with one big swing. The catcher lined a one-out home run to left in the eighth inning, leading the Rockies to a 3-2 victory over the Marlins on Tuesday night at loanDepot Park.

Hunter Goodman homered twice, including a go-ahead two-run shot in the fifth inning, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Miami Marlins 6-4 to snap their fourth eight-game losing streak of the season.

The Rockies, which began this series against Miami with an MLB-worst 9-50 record, again beat the Marlins to earn their first three-game sweep since May 2024.
