ESPN’s future begins streaming on Aug. 21, and starting next year, it will have a lineup of notable new events joining it. The sports media giant on Wednesday officially announced the launch date for its forthcoming streaming service, which will be called, simply, ESPN.

The app, also named ESPN, will include channels currently on cable like ESPN, ESPN, ESPN2, and the SEC Network.

ESPN’s streaming service will be offered with a choice of two plans. The $30 per month ($300 annually) "unlimited" offering includes access to all of ESPN’s linear networks, as well as ESPN on ABC, ESPN+,
