Jeff McLane of The Inquirer reports that the Eagles are waiving cornerback Eli Ricks, but a practice squad addition isn't out of the question

The Philadelphia Eagles are waiving third-year cornerback Eli Ricks as part of their roster cuts, according to a report from the Inquirer’s Jeff McLane. Ricks’ departure isn’t surprising but it is noteworthy.

The Eagles have to cut their roster down to 53 by 4 p.m. today. General manager Howie Roseman made a flurry of moves on Monday to get a head start. The most notable cuts were rookie quarterback Kyle McCord, cornerback Eli Ricks and offensive guard Kenyon Green.
