Southwest and China Airlines' partnership is an interline deal, offering joint itineraries to connect Asia and the U.S. on one ticket. Flights start in 2026.

That's in addition to the three gateways the two airlines launched earlier this year: Denver International Airport (DEN), Nashville International Airport (BNA) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).

Southwest Airlines has recently announced a new partnership with China Airlines, the flag carrier of Taiwan. According to Southwest Airlines, tickets will go on sale later this year, and these connections will begin operating in early 2026.
