The Brewers, losers of two straight, face the Rays again the day after they came out on the short side of a controversial call.

Christian Yelich and William Contreras hit back-to-back homers in the fourth inning for Milwaukee to help the Brewers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2 and avoid a three-game sweep.

Rasmussen’s day was done after five, replaced by Mason Montgomery. Brice Turang got a two-out walk, then stole second. But despite his hustle the Brewers didn’t get anything going. The Rays went 1-2-3 in the home half.
