That regime is no longer here. But that doesn't mean the Jets are going to be giving up on Hall just yet, either.

The New York Jets are downplaying anything regarding running back Breece Hall for now. During his press conference following Day 1 of the 2025 NFL draft, general manager Darren Mougey discussed more than his team's first-round pick in Armand Membou.

That set off a feeding frenzy of sorts, with Jets fans debating on social media the merits and pitfalls of trading for Hall and reporters for other teams even openly speculating that a deal could be imminent. But the draft started Thursday with Hall still on the Jets, and the first round ended with Hall still on the Jets.
