Wayne Rooney has outlined two measures that will effectively end racism in football after Antoine Semenyo was abused by a Liverpool fan in the Premier League opener.

The Premier League has said it will launch a full investigation after Liverpool 's curtain-raiser against Bournemouth at Anfield was halted when visiting forward Antoine Semenyo reported being racially abused by a spectator.

The 47-year-old, who has been banned from going within one mile of any football stadium in the UK, has now been named.
