Academy Award nominee Jeremy Strong is being eyed to star as Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg in Aaron Sorkin's "The Social Network Part II," a follow-up to his Academy Award-winning and box office hit film "The Social Network" at Sony Pictures.

Jesse Eisenberg famously played Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network. Now, a new actor might play the Facebook co-founder in The Social Network Part II.

Aaron Sorkin is writing and directing a follow-up to The Social Network, and Jeremy Strong is reportedly the lead candidate to play Mark Zuckerberg. “Sources say no formal offer has been presented but that he is the top choice to play the Facebook founder,” according to Deadline. Jesse Eisenberg played the role in the first film.
